Photography Open Call

For all project based photography based submissions. We are looking for 7-10 image projects with a strong preference towards experimentation and innovation. Your project should be located on a page on your website for our viewing as opposed to uploading images. If you are submitting film, please scroll down to the next section.

For all traditional and experimental film submissions. We are looking for strong projects with an emphasis towards experimentation and innovation - this can be through media, subject, and more. Your project must be available as a link for us to view - either on your own website or through Youtube, Vimeo, etc.

Donation Based Submission - Must Complete Payment for Consideration

In an effort to be as equitable to artists as possible during this festival, we are electing to require a donation based submission fee of $10 minimum. If you are able to support NOVA24 with a higher donation, we truly appreciate your support! To make this opportunity as accessible as possible for all, we are offering a number of free submissions to those with limited income. If you’d like to be considered, please send us an email (info@novatwentyfour.com) before entering your submission, detailing why you should receive a free submission. Your submission allows us to keep providing future photo + film programming for Detroit.
